My experience with Wrap Pros in Citrus County: Terrible from Start to Finish
Blog Article
Hello internet. My name is "William". I want to tell you about my experience getting my 2023 Chevy Camaro wrapped by Wrap Pros in Citrus County, Florida. I wanted a patriotic theme on it as I am a Marine veteran and love my country. In my eyes it was nothing special. Stars, stripes, a few eagles...patriotic stuff. But the end result, and just about the entire process turned out to be just absolutely terrible. They got my Facebook and Google review taken down somehow so I created a couple hundred blog sites for people who want to get their story out to warn people to not use these guys for anything. They not only do wraps, but also signs, decals, business cards and other things, mostly for business owners I assume.
So now in the evenings I search the local Citrus and Marion County forums, blogs, Facebook groups and the entire internet searching for people who have had a bad experience with these guys. So far I have 11 individuals/businesses that useful link have contacted me and I will be looking for more. I'll be getting their experiences in their own words and post them on my blogs. There will be no pictures or real names used for fear of retaliation of some sort. The first review is mine and how I threw over $3K away and they didn't even TRY to make it right. Just plain disgusting.
I had the misfortune of dealing with Wrap Pros recently, and I feel compelled to share my experience so that others can avoid the same frustration I faced. From the very first phone call to the moment I finally got my car back, every step of the process was riddled with issues and unprofessionalism.
First off, when I called to schedule an appointment at the Citrus County location, which was closer to me than their other sites in Marion County, the person on the other end was incredibly rude. Instead of the friendly customer service I expected by a local company, I was met with a dismissive attitude that left me feeling like I was bothering them just by trying to set up a simple service. I brushed it off, thinking perhaps the person wasjust having a bad day.
After finally managing to book an appointment, I received a call the day before I was supposed to drop off my car, informing me that they needed to cancel due to 'unforeseen circumstances. I was disappointed but tried to be understanding. They rescheduled me for the following week, only to receive yet another cancellation just two days before my new appointment. At this point, I was beginning to lose patience, but I desperately needed the work done, so I scheduled yet again. I should have went somewhere else but their reviews and location brought me here and I wanted to try and see it through.
When I finally dropped off my car, I was hopeful that my problems were nearing an end. However, I was informed that the job would take 2-3 days. Initially I was told one day but I assumed that maybe since it was a big job, they needed more time so I left my car with them and rented a car to get around in. Three days later, I still had not heard a word from them. I called multiple times, only to be met with long wait times and unhelpful responses. When I finally reached someone, they informed me that they had been 'busy' and my car was still not started. I couldn't believe it. Three days without my vehicle, and they hadn't even started the work yet!
After another day of waiting, I received a call to come pick up my car. When I arrived, I was met with a disheveled-looking vehicle that was not even close to the quality I was promised. The wrapping was poorly done, with folds and uneven edges that made it look like a rush job. I pointed out the flaws, and instead of an apology or any attempt to rectify the situation, I was met with more rude comments from the staff. I even heard one guy say "Maybe you should have done it yourself." under his breath. It was as if I was the inconvenience rather than the paying customer.
To add insult to injury, I was charged a hefty fee of nearly $3500 for what turned out to be a subpar job. I was absolutely livid. Not only did I waste my hard-earned money, but I also had to deal with the stress and frustration of a botched job. And even when I brought the issues to their attention, I was shocked that they didn't even offer a discount or any form of compensation for the poor service and the shoddy work. I left Wrap Pros feeling frustrated, disappointed, and robbed.
My experience with Wrap Pros was nothing short of a disaster. I feel so strongly about this terrible experience that I am posting my very negative review on any and all sites I can find. As I mentioned before, I left my first reviews on their Facebook and Google pages but they have removed them. I would highly recommend searching for alternative businesses that value their customers and deliver quality service. This was an experience I would not wish on anyone, and I certainly will not be returning to Wrap Pros in the future. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere! I should have done better research and made some phone calls. Never again.
